Do you have any of these symptoms of premenopause?

Women will experience menopause when they reach a certain age. Although this is a normal physiological phenomenon, it can still cause adverse symptoms such as menstrual cycle disorders, infrequent menstruation, osteoporosis, dull skin, etc.

1. Menstrual cycle disorder : It is a common symptom of menopause and is very harmful. The normal menstrual cycle changes to irregular vaginal bleeding, and sometimes the menstrual period is prolonged or becomes continuous vaginal bleeding, which continues for 1-2 months. Heavy vaginal bleeding may also occur, and the patient may develop anemia, sallow complexion, general fatigue, palpitations, and shortness of breath.

2. Infrequent menstruation : The interval between menstrual cycles is long, from the normal 20-30 days to once every 2-3 months or even longer. The menstrual flow may be normal or less than before, and the interval between menstruation gradually increases to 4-5 months or half a year, and then stops completely.

3. Sudden menopause: A small number of female patients will experience sudden menopause, which has always attracted people's attention. Some female friends have normal menstrual cycles, with only a few periods that gradually decrease and then suddenly stop. It was reported that 282 women with natural menopause were observed and found that 40 of them had sudden menopause, accounting for 14.1%. Therefore, the majority are the first two manifestations.

4. Osteoporosis

From around 40 years old, women's bones begin to decalcify, losing 1% of calcium each year. Failure to supplement calcium can lead to osteoporosis. The consequences are compression of the spine, shorter stature, kyphosis and difficulty walking. In severe cases, spinal compression fractures occur, and fractures are prone to occur, most commonly in the distal radius of the upper limb and the femur of the lower limb. The incidence of fractures in women is 6 to 10 times that of men.

5. Skin

The subcutaneous tissue and water content decrease, becoming dry and thin, losing its luster, wrinkles gradually increase, some people develop itching, and hair begins to turn white and fall off. The fat in the abdomen and buttocks increases, making it easy to gain weight.
