What causes ovarian follicles not to rupture?

If a woman's ovarian follicle does not rupture, she will not be able to ovulate normally. The reason why a woman's ovarian follicle does not rupture may often be related to excessive mental stress or endocrine disorders, which may directly affect the maturation and ovulation of the follicle.

1. Excessive mental stress

When there is tension and stress, serum secretin will increase. Infertile women are in a state of long-term mental stress. This is mainly because they have to measure their basal body temperature every day and choose the right time to have sex every month because they are afraid of feeling dizzy and are worried about increasing mental stress due to external influences, which may cause high prolactin and not ovulate.

2. Hormone imbalance

If there is an imbalance in the ratio of estrogen and androgen in the follicular fluid, it is very likely to cause follicle atresia. It is now clear that in patients with amenorrhea and lactation, anovulation is caused by hyperprolactinemia, and prolactin has a certain important effect on ovulation.

3. The influence of other hormones

The level of prostaglandins and the role of proteinases in women's follicles are also very important. If their hormone levels are insufficient, this is likely to cause anovulation.

The treatment of unruptured follicle syndrome often focuses on inducing ovulation. The most common method is to supplement hormones and take some ovulation-inducing drugs to help ovulation, mainly clomiphene and human chorionic gonadotropin, which are used in combination. The effect is very significant.
