How to diagnose ovarian cysts, self-diagnosis methods

Ovarian cyst is a common disease among women. Ovarian cyst refers to a lump attached to the ovary and has a great impact on women's reproductive health. The treatment of ovarian cysts should follow the principle of early detection and early treatment. So how should ovarian cysts be diagnosed?

1: Signs of ovarian cysts

1: Abdominal pain: If the tumor has no complications, there will be very little pain. Therefore, if patients with ovarian cysts feel abdominal pain, especially if it occurs suddenly, it is mostly due to torsion of the cyst pedicle, or occasionally due to cyst rupture, bleeding or infection. In addition, malignant cysts often cause abdominal pain and leg pain, and the pain often causes patients to seek emergency treatment.

2: Lower abdominal discomfort: This is the initial symptom before the patient feels a lump in the lower abdomen. Due to the weight of the tumor itself and the influence of intestinal peristalsis and changes in body position, the cyst moves in the pelvic cavity, involving its pedicle and pelvic infundibulum ligament, causing the patient to have a feeling of fullness and falling in the lower abdomen or iliac fossa.

Increased abdominal circumference and abdominal tumors are the most common complaints. The patient realizes that his clothes or belt seem tight and small, and then notices that his abdomen is enlarged, or he feels it occasionally in the morning, so he presses his abdomen and finds a tumor in his abdomen, coupled with abdominal distension and discomfort.

Menstrual disorders: Generally, ovarian cysts, even bilateral ovarian cysts, do not cause menstrual disorders because they do not destroy all normal ovarian tissues. Some uterine bleeding is not endocrine in nature. It may be caused by ovarian cysts that change the pelvic blood vessel distribution, causing endometrial congestion; or it may be caused by ovarian malignant tumors directly metastasizing to the endometrium. Menstrual disorders caused by endocrine tumors are often combined with other secretory influences.

2: Tips for self-examination of ovarian cysts

1: When you wake up in the morning, lie on your back on an empty stomach with all bowels and bladder emptying. Bend your hips and knees, relax your abdomen, and use your fingertips to press various parts of your abdomen, especially the sides, and feel carefully for any lumps. This may allow for early self-detection of ovarian tumors. This method is especially suitable for women with thin body and soft skin.

However, if you touch the cyst or experience compression symptoms (abdominal discomfort, frequent urination, constipation), it means that the cyst has grown very large and you should ask a gynecologist to diagnose it.

3. Excessive and long-term psychological pressure

Factors such as bad diet structure and living habits cause excessive acidification of the body, which reduces the overall function of the human body and causes kidney deficiency. The liver and kidney are of the same origin, and the pathological deficiency of kidney and ovarian cysts is caused by liver deficiency, which in turn causes the metabolic cycle in the lower part of the body to slow down, resulting in ovarian diseases and endocrine disorders, and a decline in immune function, which in turn develops into abnormal proliferation of ovarian tissue, eventually leading to ovarian cysts and even cancer.
