Two "early" actually accompany women throughout their lives

In life, many female friends will develop a series of health problems due to staying up late, such as worse skin and unstable menstrual cycles. Women are more likely to have sleep disorders and abnormal emotions than men. Why is this?

Some people say that this is because women are often sentimental, while men are calm and rational. But the truth is not that simple. The latest research by scientists at McGill University in Canada confirms that the internal biological clocks of men and women are very different! Their research was just published in the internationally renowned journal PNAS on September 12.

What is the biological clock?

The biological clock, also known as the physiological clock, is an invisible "clock" in the body and is actually the internal rhythm regulator of our life activities. For example, the human body temperature is not exactly the same within 24 hours. It is lowest at 4 a.m. and highest at 18:00 p.m., with a maximum difference of 1°C. Long-term living conditions that go against the natural biological clock will cause many diseases. Conversely, changes in the biological clock are also precursors to many dangers.

There is a lot of evidence showing that arranging daily, weekly, monthly, and annual schedules according to one's internal physiological and psychological biorhythms can improve work efficiency and academic performance and reduce fatigue.

How are women's biological clocks different?

Studies have found that women's biological clocks are closer to the Eastern Time Zone. In other words, without causing any sleep, emotional or other physiological problems, they naturally fall asleep and wake up earlier than men.

How much earlier then? For more accurate calculations, scientists also monitored the participants' daily body temperature and related hormone changes. The results tell us that women's circadian rhythm is 1.7 to 2.3 hours earlier than men.

What does this tell us?

From a biological point of view, women are more susceptible to the impact of modern lifestyles than men. They are more likely to develop a series of physiological and psychological problems due to changes in the pace of life and are less suitable for night work.

As mentioned just now, if we arrange our work, study and life according to our internal biological clock, our life will become more efficient and happier, and we will have more energy. Therefore, female friends, hurry up and adjust your schedule! Go to bed early and get up early to make tomorrow better and your future life healthier!
