What's wrong with yellow and sticky vaginal discharge?

The condition of leucorrhea is closely related to women's physical condition. Abnormal leucorrhea is caused by decreased personal resistance, leading to infection by pathogenic bacteria. First we need to find out the cause so that we can prescribe the right remedy. If the leucorrhea is yellow and sticky, it is likely caused by a purulent infection or Trichomonas vaginitis. It may also be accompanied by itching, urgency, pain, hematuria, etc., so please go to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible. Gynecological diseases can affect women’s pregnancy, damage the immune system, cause cervical erosion, cervical polyps, and even cause cancer. Therefore, women should not ignore the signals sent by the body. Timely treatment is the most important thing.

1 If the leucorrhea is milky white or light yellow, and like thick nasal discharge, with a large amount and a foul odor, it is usually caused by vaginitis, chronic cervicitis or endocervical canal inflammation. The milky white leucorrhea looks like tofu dregs, or is in chunks and is sometimes difficult to wipe off. In that case, it may be a fungal infection.

2 If the amount of leucorrhea is large, the color is turbid like rice water, it has a bad smell, and sometimes there is pink stuff in it, it means that there is a malignant lesion in the uterus or vagina, such as cervical cancer, vaginal cancer and other diseases. If the leucorrhea is very thin, as thin as water, and it flows out in bursts, it may be a fallopian tube lesion. If it is white, transparent, cool water-like substance, it is usually water in the fallopian tube.

3. Yellow leucorrhea is generally caused by mycoplasma or chlamydia infection. Dark yellow leucorrhea is generally caused by necrosis or change of nature of the diseased tissue. The more common ones are subendometrial fibroids, cervical cancer, uterine body cancer, and fallopian tube cancer.

Gynecological diseases caused by abnormal leucorrhea directly affect the quality of the couple's sexual life. They are not difficult to cure as long as the cause is identified and treated properly. Many women report that gynecological diseases such as vaginitis always recur. In fact, this is because the patients themselves use medications improperly. When the symptoms are not obvious, they stop taking the medications, which leads to recurrence of the disease. As long as you take the medicine according to the doctor's instructions, it will be cured.
