Gynecological diseases are common diseases among most women. There are many kinds of gynecological diseases, among which ovarian cysts are also a common gynecological disease. When right ovarian cysts appear, most people will experience irregular menstruation, abdominal pain, and even infertility. More serious cases may even cause life-threatening situations. So what does right ovarian cysts mean? What is the cause of this symptom? Ovarian cysts are a common and frequently occurring disease among women. They are a type of benign ovarian tumor and can occur at any age, but are more common in middle-aged women. It is divided into: Benign ovarian tumors include serous cystadenoma, mucinous cystadenoma and benign cystic teratoma. The causes of polycystic ovary syndrome may be related to the following three factors: ① Dysregulation of the secretion of pituitary gonadotropin The hypothalamus controls the secretion of pituitary gonadotropin through the continuous center and the cycle center, and under the synergistic action of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), it causes the follicles to develop, mature and ovulate. When the patient suffers from hypothalamic dysfunction due to emotional stress, drugs, disease and other factors, the LH/FSH secreted by the pituitary gland may lose its normal ratio, and the follicles cannot develop, mature and ovulate. Due to the continuous small amount of FSH stimulation, many immature cystic follicles continue to appear in the ovaries; the secretion of LH continues to be higher than normal, causing the proliferation and luteinization of theca cells, resulting in polycystic ovarian lesions. ② Functional defects of the enzyme system required for ovarian steroid production. Some people believe that polycystic ovary syndrome may be caused by disorders in the ovarian enzyme system, which affects the function of the hypothalamic cycle center and causes an abnormal ratio of LH to FSH. ③ Adrenal cortex dysfunction. Some adrenal tumors, adrenal hyperplasia or Cushing's disease are often accompanied by anovulation and polycystic ovary-like symptoms. Normal menstruation with periodic ovulation can be restored after treatment. Therefore, it is believed that excess adrenal androgens can cause polycystic ovary syndrome. When cysts appear on the right ovary, you should go to the hospital for examination in time to find out the cause and treat it symptomatically. Generally speaking, this disease can easily cause infertility. If not treated in time, it may also lead to polycystic ovarian lesions and even the possibility of cancer, so timely treatment is the best choice. |
