How to treat yellow vaginal discharge and vaginal itching

Yellow leucorrhea and vaginal itching are relatively serious gynecological problems. For example, what we usually call vaginitis, or candidal vaginitis, can cause yellow leucorrhea and vaginal itching, which can directly affect women's reproductive health and their normal life. So here we will introduce to you some effective methods to treat this disease.

It is highly likely that you have candida albicans vaginitis (mycotic vaginitis). Candida albicans is a conditional pathogen that will multiply and cause symptoms when the body's and vagina's resistance is reduced. Common causes of the disease include pregnancy, diabetes, and the large-scale use of immunosuppressants and broad-spectrum antibiotics. The main symptoms of candidal vaginitis are severe vulvar itching, burning sensation, increased vaginal discharge, white, tofu-like discharge. There are two main treatment methods: local medication and systemic medication.

For local medication, the vulva and vagina are rinsed with 2-4% sodium bicarbonate solution, and the following drugs are placed in the vagina: 1. Miconazole suppository, one pill (200 mg) every night, for 7 consecutive days, or one pill (400 mg) every night, for 3 consecutive days, or one pill (1200 mg), for a single dose; 2. Clotrimazole suppository, one pill (150 mg) every night, inserted deep into the vagina, for 7 consecutive days, or one pill (150 mg) each morning and evening, for 3 consecutive days, or one pill (500 mg), for a single dose; 3. Nystatin suppository, one pill (100,000 U) every night, for 10-14 consecutive days. For those who cannot tolerate local medication, unmarried women and patients who are unwilling to use local medication,

Oral medications can be used. The commonly used medication is fluconazole 150mg, taken all at once. It is also possible to use itraconazole 200mg, once a day, for 3-5 consecutive days, or a one-day therapy, 400mg orally in 2 doses. Sexual intercourse should be prohibited during treatment. After the symptoms disappear, check the vaginal discharge routine. Wash the used underwear, towels and basins with boiling water, and put them in the sun to sterilize. Do not use sanitary pads for a long time, and pay attention to keeping the vulva clean.

After reading the above methods, women should pay attention. If you encounter this problem in life, you must take the most targeted treatment and solution to try to help yourself reduce these adverse effects and harms. If you don’t know how to take scientific treatment methods, you should consult a doctor in time.
