Before the onset, the uterus will contract irregularly periodically, and then gradually change into periodic uterine contractions, and the ability of uterine contractions will become stronger and stronger. Depending on the progress of the labor process, some uterine contractions may last up to one minute, and in the intermediate period, they may be shortened to one to three minutes, and they are also periodic, and there is a tendency to increase uterine contractions.

After the amniotic fluid breaks, there will be regular uterine contractions, which will continue until the baby is born.
