Why do women urinate frequently and urgently?

1. Inflammation and irritation

Frequent urination and urgency may occur in conditions such as inflammatory irritant acute cystitis, tuberculous cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, and vulvitis. Under the stimulation of inflammation, frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, and painful urination may occur at the same time. These are called urethral irritation.

4. Lower urinary tract obstruction

It is common in prostatic hyperplasia, urethral stenosis, foreign body obstruction, etc. Generally, there is difficulty in urination, with symptoms such as slow urination at the beginning, indecent urination, reduced effective range, weaker ejection force, and interrupted or no dripping urine flow.
