Treatment of cervical ulcer

Treatment of cervical ulcer

Papillomavirus can cause great harm to the human body, because some serious papillomaviruses can cause some serious diseases. For example, cervical warts in women are caused by papillomavirus, and severe cervical warts have the possibility of turning into cervical cancer, so women should take measures to treat them after cervical warts appear in their bodies. Female friends, don’t miss the explanation of the treatment methods for cervical warts.

What are the treatments for women with cervical eczema? The following are three common methods.

1. Topical medications

Topical medications are a common treatment for cervical eczema. They are relatively safe and cause little pain to patients. However, there are some matters that require special attention. Some topical medications are highly corrosive and will affect other tissues in the patient's diseased area. Long-term use of the medications can cause strong side effects to the body and is not conducive to subsequent treatment.

2. Electrocautery

Electrocautery is one of the more traditional ways to treat cervical warts. The general method is to use a high-frequency electric knife to cauterize cervical warts and other skin growths. This method is simple to operate and has quick effects, but it causes great damage, leaves scars, the burn wounds recover slowly, and has a high recurrence rate.

3. Surgical Resection

For some pedunculated, larger, isolated warts, surgical removal may be considered, but surgical treatment of cervical warts is prone to recurrence, resulting in treatment failure, so surgical removal is generally not recommended. However, surgical removal may be considered for pedunculated, larger warts or those suspected of malignancy.

Combined with the above treatment methods, female friends should have a better understanding of how to treat cervical eczema, but it should be noted that any treatment method should be carried out under the supervision of a professional doctor.
