What should I do if the uterine incision from cesarean section has not healed well?

We all know that there are roughly two ways to give birth now. The first is natural birth, which requires the pregnant woman's own efforts to give birth to the baby. Another method is caesarean section, which is a method of removing the fetus from the mother's body through surgery. It is more suitable for pregnant women whose physical conditions do not allow natural delivery. Caesarean section will definitely leave a wound, so what should I do if the uterine incision from Caesarean section does not heal well?

1. Don’t move around after giving birth

In the 6 hours after delivery, the anesthesia has not worn off yet. Don't move around if you don't feel any pain. That will put pressure on the wound. When the anesthesia wears off, you will know exactly how painful it is. So try to lie flat after delivery and don't move around.

2. Don’t rush to eat after giving birth

Since the gas has not been expelled after delivery, mothers should not rush to eat. Wait until the gas is almost expelled and the doctor tells them that they can eat. But at this time, you should avoid drinking milk or soy milk as they may cause bloating. Instead, you can eat some liquid food such as porridge.

3. Walk within 24 hours after delivery

Pregnant women who have undergone caesarean section should not think that they cannot move after the operation has been performed on them. In fact, this is not the case. After 24 hours, the catheter will be removed and the pregnant woman can get out of bed and walk around. This can promote blood circulation in the body and help wound healing.

Therefore, pregnant mothers may feel that their postpartum recovery is slow because they have not done the above three points. As long as they do these, the wound can recover well and quickly.

Notice:

Relax and don't be too nervous

Generally speaking, it would be strange if you are not nervous during such a major operation. After all, it concerns two people. But even so, you must know that a good mood is of great benefit to both the baby and the operation. Therefore, pregnant mothers should pay attention to rest before the operation, relax, and don’t be too nervous. If you are nervous, it will easily lead to weak uterine contractions and cause heavy bleeding. The expectant father must do a good job at this time and comfort the pregnant mother.
