Signs of poor milk quality

Signs of poor milk quality

For babies who are breastfed, the quality of milk is closely related to their physical health, because only good quality milk can provide the baby with more adequate nutrition and ensure that the baby can develop quickly. If the quality of milk is poor and the baby does not like to eat, then the baby will naturally suffer from various health problems such as malnutrition. If the quality of breast milk is poor, mothers may experience constipation, irregular menstruation or skin problems.

1. Constipation

After a mother has given birth, the elderly in the family may supplement the pregnant mother with a lot of nutrition. The elderly think that the mother has just given birth and is weak, so they will choose to feed the mother a lot of pork rib soup, pig's trotter soup, etc. This is really hard for mothers who have just given birth. The elderly take great pains to prepare meals for themselves, but they really don’t want to eat. Eating these often may make mothers feel greasy or even a little nauseous, but if they don’t eat them, they will disappoint the elderly. It’s really a dilemma. Moreover, eating these greasy foods often may also cause constipation. This is why many mothers will suffer from severe constipation after giving birth. Once constipation occurs, mothers must adjust their diet and pay attention to a light diet.

2. Irregular menstruation

Mothers may resume menstruation after giving birth. During this period, some mothers may experience irregular menstruation, such as only having menstruation every two or three months, or unstable menstrual flow, which may be too much or too little. The reason for this is mostly due to the mother's lack of qi and blood after giving birth. At this time, the mother should eat some foods that can replenish qi and blood, such as red dates, wolfberry, longan, etc. I believe that after the mother's conditioning, the mother's own body will become better and better, and the milk will become more and more sufficient.

3. Skin problems

Women's skin can easily reflect whether their body is healthy. If a mother's skin becomes dry and oily right after giving birth, it is likely that her endocrine system is out of balance. At this time, mothers need to regulate their endocrine system and pay more attention to maintenance. This will help mothers clear out waste and toxins in their bodies in a timely manner. This will improve the quality of breast milk. Only with enough breast milk can babies grow stronger.
