Only if the pathological examination still indicates CINⅡ should LEEP surgery be performed. For lesions of CINⅢ or above, traditional surgical methods should be used.

Results of CINⅠ or below can be followed up for 3 to 6 months. During the observation period, conservative treatments such as cervical medication are used, and most patients will be normal after reexamination. If the follow-up is ineffective after half a year to one year, appropriate surgical treatment will be taken. In addition, pathological examination of the removed tissue should be performed routinely after LEEP surgery.

From this we can see that we should not just ignore "erosion". The occurrence of cervical cancer is closely related to HPV virus infection. Even if the eroded surface is removed, as long as you have sexual intercourse, you may continue to be exposed to the HPV virus, resulting in continued erosion and even cervical lesions. The LEEP knife can only be used twice at most.
